The "air-flap" outlet technology eliminates the need for a filter blanket, reducing costs and maintenance, while also providing a greater exhaust airflow. When the fan is not in use, the flaps close, preventing dirt from entering the enclosure.
Depending on the application, two systems are available:
• FPI system (air direction “in”)
• FPO system (air direction “out”)
The FPI system (airflow direction "in") is a standard installation of a filter fan and filter blanket at the bottom of the enclosure, ensuring the intake of cool air and expelling hot air to the outside through an outlet filter with "air-flap" technology.
The FPO system (airflow direction "out") consists of a filter fan with "air-flap" technology at the top of the enclosure. This allows for more active evacuation of hot air to the outside. Cool air enters the enclosure through the filter blanket installed at the bottom.
Another major advantage is the rack and pinion mounting system. This innovative system prevents the fan from moving from its installed position, keeping it stable and secure at all times. It is easy to install without tools.
Filter fans are used to provide an optimal climate inside enclosures and distribution and control cabinets with electrical and electronic components, protecting them against overheating and preventing the formation of air pockets.
