The RA8E1 and RA8E2 are entry-level 32-bit MCUs based on the Arm® Cortex®-M85 (CM85) core (360/480 MHz) with Helium™ and TrustZone®, delivering exceptional performance (6.39 CoreMarks/MHz/3000 CoreMarks at 480 MHz) with fully deterministic, low-latency, real-time operation to meet the needs of the most demanding applications. Both devices incorporate low-power features and various low-power modes to improve energy efficiency while maintaining industry-leading performance.
The RA8E1 MCUs integrate a high-performance CM85 core with 1 MB of flash code and 544 KB of SRAM, several external interfaces, and an optimized set of peripherals, including an 8-bit camera interface for the capture engine unit (CEU), meeting the needs of both low-cost and high-performance applications. The RA8E2 MCUs offer 3000 CoreMark performance with an integrated high-performance CM85 core, ample 1 MB of flash code with 672 KB of SRAM, and an optimized set of peripherals including a TFT-LCD graphics controller with a parallel RGB interface, a 2D drawing engine, and several external memory interfaces for high-performance graphics applications.
