The NAU83G60YG is designed for conference speakers, smart speakers, professional monitoring speakers, and car audio systems. Leveraging advanced nonlinear speaker control technology, the amplifier delivers low distortion, high power output, and ultra-low latency audio processing, enabling clearer voice communication and enhanced low-frequency performance for next-generation audio applications.
Targeting voice communication devices, compact multimedia speakers, and studio monitors,
the distortion reduction provided by the NAU83G60YG with KCS enables clear two-way voice communication in conference speakers and soundbars. This advantage is further enhanced by the NAU83G60YG's linearized reference signal, which provides optimal learning conditions for active echo cancellation (AEC) algorithms.
"We are delighted to collaborate with Klippel on this innovative smart stereo amplifier solution." “Compared to traditional smart amplifier designs based on linear models, the NAU83G60YG enables smaller speakers to achieve higher sound quality and maximum output performance. It offers precise speaker protection and real-time diagnostics, while significantly simplifying speaker tuning processes. Furthermore, it improves interrupt-based echo cancellation (AEC) performance and enables low-latency active noise cancellation (ANC) applications for next-generation smart audio systems,”said Walter Tseng, Vice President of the Microcontroller Business Group at Nuvoton Technology Corporation.
“Today’s launch of the NAU83G60YG is great news for audio designers. It makes KCS technology accessible in the highly relevant power range up to 30 W. This is a significant milestone for Klippel GmbH in fulfilling the vision of our founder, Dr. Wolfgang Klippel: to provide the entire audio industry with innovative tools that push the boundaries of audio performance.” "We appreciate our long-term and trusted partnership with Nuvoton, whose support has helped make this achievement a reality," said Benjamin Barth, CEO of Klippel GmbH.
The advantages of KCS (Klippel Controlled Sound):
Loudspeakers are, by nature, highly nonlinear and time-varying systems. Signal distortion, thermal effects, instabilities, aging, and environmental conditions have traditionally limited maximum sound pressure levels and overall sound quality.
Compared to conventional amplifiers and smart amplifiers based on linear loudspeaker models, the KCS algorithm delivers superior performance with more bass, cleaner sound, and inherent operational stability. Its nonlinear adaptive loudspeaker control technology provides active compensation for loudspeaker distortion, balances operational instabilities, offers superior precision in mechanical and thermal protection to prevent overload situations, features automatic and adaptive system alignment for unmatched consistency, and adds voice coil rest position control for maximum voice coil travel. These capabilities significantly improve loudspeaker performance and sound quality.
Key advantages of KCS technology:
• Increased voice coil excursion capability for higher acoustic output with superior overload protection
• Significant reduction in harmonic and intermodulation distortion for improved sound quality
• Enhanced acoustic echo cancellation (AEC) performance by minimizing speaker distortion and improving AEC operation with interruptions under linear, time-invariant acoustic conditions
• Improved voice interaction experience thanks to more accurate wake word detection for AI-powered smart speakers
• Compatibility with ultra-low latency audio processing, ideal for high-performance active noise cancellation (ANC) systems
