Durable and efficient energy storage solutions are in strong demand in the market, and Maxwell's 51-volt module provides a self-cooling system solution that helps optimize performance in heavy-duty applications. Additional features of the 51-volt module: Maxwell's proprietary DuraBlue™ Advanced Shock and Vibration Technology, integrated into the design, provides three times greater vibration resistance and four times greater shock resistance compared to previous competitive ultracapacitor-based system options. It far exceeds the industry's highest standard, ISO 16750-3, Table 12, for ultracapacitor modules and has an IP65 environmental protection rating, ensuring the module's resistance to dust and water. The module features an active cooling system that improves the maximum continuous current rating by approximately 90% and ensures optimal performance even in extreme temperatures from -40°C to +65°C. The mounting pattern is identical to that of Maxwell's current 48-volt module. “Hybrid transportation systems must operate reliably even when exposed to harsh environments such as rough roads and extreme temperatures. The 51-volt module’s ability to operate in demanding, heavy-duty applications reinforces our ongoing commitment to providing superior performance and value to our customers,” says Dr. Henning Hauenstein, Vice President of Strategy and Marketing at Maxwell Technologies
