High Capacitance and Ripple Current
The CJV and CHV series offer at least the same specifications as the current PJV and PHV series, with additional improvements in capacitance and ripple current capability currently under evaluation.
Larger Case Sizes:
RUBYCON also plans to expand its series with larger case sizes, including ø10×12.5mm, ø10×16.5mm, and potentially ø10×20mm. These dimensions are particularly challenging for hybrid capacitors, as reliable impregnation with conductive polymer becomes more difficult as the element size increases.
RUBYCON's technological advantage:
RUBYCON is currently the only manufacturer offering ø10×20mm hybrid capacitor elements in a through-hole mounting design. Incorporating this capability into the CJV and CHV series could enable compact and cost-effective capacitors that combine high capacitance with high ripple current capability.
