AVX Corporationhas introduced a new line of dielectric polypropylene film DC capacitors.
Designated as the FB Series, these capacitors have a voltage rating of 550-1200V, a capacitance range of 0.68-75µF, are RoHS compliant, and are available in a range of sizes encompassing over 100 new classifications. Ideal applications for the series include DC power supplies and converters for solar, electric, and industrial power systems
Rated for use from -40ºC to +100ºC, the VX FC series is available in 14 sizes with its three usual options: 27.5 mm, 37.5 mm and 52.5 mm.
