The key features of the IPTE FlexPresser II are a three-part conveyor belt for PCB transport, highly dynamic linear motors for moving the adjustment unit, and a PCB holder to absorb the pressing forces. Thanks to the adapted cell design, high pressing forces of up to 7,000 Newtons are achievable.
Features:
- Printed circuit board feeding and removal with SMEMA interface.
- Fully programmable component positions (x, y, rotation angle) create flexibility during picking and insertion.
- The feeder bank (max. 12 positions) allows for the coupling of different component feeders (bar feeders, tray feeders, and sorting conveyors).
- Process control via force- and stroke-dependent pressing.
- Adaptation to specific application requirements.
- Pressing forces up to 7,000 N.
- Optional pin vision inspection with position correction to compensate for component tolerances and improve the quality of the pressing process.
- Automatic quick-change gripper system for inserting different types of components onto each printed circuit board without operator intervention.
- Quick-change system for the printed circuit board support plate.
- Steplessly variable pressing speeds.
- For easy maintenance access, the component feeders are quickly detached from the machine and easily reattached afterward.
- For process monitoring, the insertion process is carried out with a controlled insertion force.
The High Dynamic Cell is available in a height of two meters, three widths (1 m, 1.5 m, and 2 m), and three depths (1.5 m, 1.7 m, and 2 m). These are scalable depending on the application and customer requirements.
Teradyne introduces Iris 100 for optical testing of microLED devices
Teradyne has introduced Iris 100, an optical testing platform for microLED devices designed for use in manufacturing processes. The system allows for the individual measurement of emitters within a microLED array and can be integrated with the UltraFLEXplus platform...
