The illumia®lite system overcomes the inherent drawbacks of other portable systems by incorporating a spectrometer calibrated for absolute spectral flux, and employs an integrating sphere in its design.
This combination offers greater spectral flux measurement capabilities than illuminance meters using cosine receivers. This portable and ergonomic instrument measures luminous flux and color of any element, including LEDs and other sources up to 1 cm in diameter. With its integrated auxiliary lamp, it achieves self-absorption correction for highly accurate results.
The illumia®lite's luminous flux range is from 0.1 to 5000 lumens, with wavelength resolution <5nm and accuracy <0.5nm. Data is retrieved via USB to a computer and can be analyzed using MtrX-Spec software, which calculates industry-standard color parameters such as x, y, CCT, CRI, and lumens, as well as spectral irradiance.
