It offers Field Oriented Control (FOC) mode, which allows for asynchronous motor performance approaching that of a servomotor. The available control modes are: V/F, open-loop FOC, and closed-loop FOC. Torque control is possible in closed-loop mode.
When the series launch is complete, it will cover a power range from 0.75 to 355 kW at 400 V.
It features a built-in PLC
and is a two-in-one unit capable of controlling both asynchronous motors and brushless servomotors with encoders.
The 0.75 to 30 kW models include a built-in braking unit.
It allows for the installation of up to three expansion cards: inputs/outputs, encoder feedback, and communications (Profibus-DP, DeviceNet, CANopen, Modbus TCP, and EtherNet/IP).
A "safe stop" function is included, compliant with EN954-1, EN60204-1, and IEC61508.
An integrated RFI filter is also included and can be disabled.
