The graphics card controls up to three displays. “With a size of only 102 x 147 mm, the IB918 integrates the powerful AMD® Ryzen™ V1000 embedded processor or, alternatively, its smaller R1000 counterpart for less demanding designs,” says Thomas Schrefel, Product Manager Embedded at Distec. “In addition to high-performance graphics, demanding industrial applications benefit from its long-term availability and the robust CPU board design.” The wide DC input range is from 12 to 24 volts and allows for operating temperatures from 0 to +60°C. Therefore, the IB918 is particularly well-suited for medical displays or industrial automation, which place high demands on graphics performance.
Powerful and versatile
To control up to three independent displays, the IB918 offers several interfaces: one LVDS, one embedded DisplayPort (eDP), and two high-resolution HDMI 2.0a ports. Thanks to its many additional interfaces, including four COM ports, four USB 3.1 ports, one USB 2.0 port, and two M.2 expansion slots for 2280 Key M and 2230 Key E drives, the multi-display board is versatile. Two 260-pin SO-DIMM slots are provided for up to 32 gigabit DDR4 memory. For security-critical applications, the IB918 is equipped with TPM 2.0.
For immediate use, Distec also offers the IB918 as a display kit that includes AUO or Tianma TFT displays in sizes from 7 to 24 inches. Alternatively, Distec also offers the SBC as a robust embedded ASB200-918 Box PC. As a complete solution, it comes fully pre-configured and ready for plug-and-play. The fanless embedded Box PC is also available in a slim design.
