Congatec and AMD have partnered to provide extended lifecycle support for one of the longest-running x86 processors on the market. As a result, congatec's AMD Geode processor boards are planned to be available through the end of 2021.
To enable this upgrade, AMD has certified a virtually unchanged, non-halogenated substrate that maintains the processor's form, fit, and function to meet all of AMD's qualification criteria. Congatec modules with the new Geode processor samples are now available under identical product order numbers.
