Capable of supporting up to three channels of real-time 1080p SDI video, the HDCS-7003-S is ideal for medical applications such as microscopy and endoscopy, both of which require high-resolution image monitoring to capture procedures and record complex operations.
The HDCS-7003 is a high-performance embedded system for video processing and audio/video analysis in full HD. It supports one to three Serial Digital Interface (SDI) channels via three audio and video inputs. The HDCS-7003-S can achieve 30 frames per second (30 fpm) on each channel using 1080p Full HD.
The device also includes two Gigabit Ethernet combo ports with two 10/100/1000 RJ-45 ports or a 1000 Gbps SFP slot. Additional input/output interfaces include two USB 3.0 ports, four USB 2.0 ports, one SATA 6 Gb/s port, one CAN bus port, and eight COM ports (four of which are self-isolated).
These interfaces make it ideal for use as an onboard video surveillance system in buses, trucks, or cars. This device can also be used in the vehicle inspection market or automotive workshops as a repair support system in conjunction with high-resolution visualization equipment to pinpoint faults requiring a high level of detail.
The device comes with a software development kit (SDK), making it even more attractive to programmers and integrators who sell applications to the aforementioned markets.
