According to Yaling Sun, Portwell's product manager, the rugged WEBS-7000 is equipped with the Portwell PICO-6260, an embedded PICO-ITX panel (100 mm x 72 mm; 3.9" x 2.8") based on the Intel® Celeron® N3350 processor. This integrated graphics engine features the Intel® Gen9 3D Graphics Engine with up to 12 execution units, enhancing performance and supporting faster 4K encoding and decoding. The compact WEBS-7000 embedded system also includes up to 8GB of DDR3L SO-DIMM memory supporting 1866/1600 MT/s; a single Gigabit LAN port via the Intel® Ethernet I210IT controller; a USB 3.0 port; an HDMI port on the rear I/O with a resolution of up to 4096 x 2160; and multiple storage options with mSATA or SATA DOM per project. "In addition to a Mini PCIe expansion socket (co-lay with mSATA)," says Sun. "The compact WEBS7000 embedded system integrates the latest M.2 E-type interface, providing wireless connectivity such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and NFC (Near Field Communication). It can serve as an ideal IoT gateway solution," Sun explains.
The WEBS-7000 embedded system's simple and exquisite design, with both wall-mount and panel/VESA® mounting options, allows for flexible installation and easy system maintenance. By leveraging the low 6W Thermal Design Power (TDP) of the Intel® Celeron® N3350 processor, the fanless WEBS7000 can withstand operating temperatures from 0°C to 45°C, while ensuring quiet operation, reliability, and low maintenance and operating costs. Furthermore, the improved flash playback, rich 2D/3D graphics quality, security, and energy efficiency enable a captivating visual experience for a variety of applications in retail, networking, digital signage, and kiosks, to name just a few.
