The UrsaLeo UL-NXP1S2R2 kit contains a Silicon Labs Thunderboard™ 2 sensor module ready to connect to the UrsaLeo services platform on Google Cloud. Since access is pre-registered, developers can quickly get results and start configuring their own consoles and graphs, defining event-based text or email alerts, and running Google Analytics. The kit comes with applications and APIs for controlling the sensors locally, running diagnostics, and continuously sharing information with other enterprise software or third-party tools, such as business intelligence applications.

Thanks to the kit's quick start and ease of use, users can bring their ideas to life very quickly and enhance the possibilities of remote sensing and big data in sectors such as Industry 4.0, automotive diagnostics, healthcare, and general data monitoring.
The Thunderboard™ 2 sensor module contains sensors for temperature, humidity, UV, ambient light, barometric pressure, indoor air quality, gas detection, a 6-axis inertial sensor, a digital microphone, and a Hall sensor. The board also includes a Silicon Labs EFR32™ Mighty Gecko 2.4 GHz multiprotocol radio compatible with Bluetooth® Low Energy or proprietary short-range protocols, as well as Thread and ZigBee®. With an integrated ceramic antenna and four built-in high-brightness LEDs, it is ready to be powered by a USB connection, a coin cell battery, or an external battery.

To deliver ready-to-use products and minimize time to market, developers can also take advantage of UrsaLeo software development kits to transfer developed code to custom hardware, and provide support in production tuning and device management.
