With some minor changes, such as reduced debugging support and some restrictions on hardware reuse, it is ideal for lower-cost development in sectors such as Industry 4.0, automotive diagnostics, healthcare, and general data monitoring.

The Thunderboard™ 2 module, as presented in the UrsaLeo UltraLite kit, contains sensors for temperature, humidity, UV, ambient light, barometric pressure, indoor air quality, gas detection, a 6-axis inertial sensor, a digital microphone, and a Hall sensor. The integrated Silicon Labs EFR32™ Mighty Gecko 2.4 GHz multiprotocol radio supports Bluetooth® Low Energy, Thread, ZigBee®, or specific short-range protocols. The kit comes with sample apps and APIs for managing sensors, running diagnostics, and sharing information with enterprise software or business intelligence applications.

Like UrsaLeo Lite, UrsaLeo Pi is ready to connect to the UrsaLeo platform, allowing users to view sensor data and launch IoT applications, such as storage and analytics, from their own customized consoles. Adding new sensors is simplified, and users can be invited to collaborate, offering the flexibility to share data and develop joint projects while the owner's Google Cloud account information remains secure.

UrsaLeo also provides a customizable console and user-defined events to trigger alerts (texts, emails, and actions). Users can upload up to 50 MB of data to the cloud platform free of charge.
