This chip features an electronic shutter with variable load integration time. The B-CAMS-IMX module also integrates STM's VL53L5CX 8x8 multi-zone time-of-flight sensor, which provides accurate range under various ambient lighting conditions and with a wide range of housing materials. It also integrates the iNEMO® ISM330DLC 6-axis inertial measurement unit (IMU). The ISM330DLC is a high-performance 3D digital accelerometer and 3D digital gyroscope designed for Industry 4.0 applications.
The module offers high accuracy and stability with ultra-low power consumption, making it suitable for long-life battery applications. The B-CAMS-IMX module is designed to work with STM32 discovery kits and development boards to integrate machine vision into applications such as industrial automation, OCR and OCV label verification, robotics, flaw detection, security, smart home appliances, and many more.
