Infineon XMC4700 Relax Assessment Kits
Mouser Electronics, Inc. offers the XMC4700 Relax microcontroller for the Relax 5V Shields and Relax Lite evaluation kits from Infineon Technologies. These kits are designed to evaluate the capabilities of the XMC4700 microcontroller and Infineon's Eclipse-based DAVE™ free-to-use integrated development environment (IDE).
With the XMC4700 Relax, Relax Kit for 5V Shields and Relax Lite kit, engineers can create prototype designs for a variety of industrial and consumer applications, including automation, construction and agricultural vehicles, motor control, solar power systems and power supplies.
The Infineon XMC4700 Relax, Relax Kit for 5V Shields, and Relax Lite evaluation kit are equipped with an Infineon XMC4700 microcontroller based on a 32-bit ARM® Cortex®-M4 core; an integrated debug probe that supports SWD (Serial Wire Debug), SWO (Serial Wire Output), and a virtual COM port; and a micro-USB port. All three boards feature Arduino UNO-compatible headers. The Relax and Relax Lite boards include 0-ohm jumpers that allow the kits to work with 3.3V Arduino Uno-compatible shields, and the Relax Kit for 5V Shields includes a voltage level switch that allows it to work with both 3.3V and 5V Arduino Uno-compatible shields.
The XMC4700 Relax Kit adds Ethernet-enabled communication, which can facilitate an embedded server, and a microSD card slot that allows users to store HTML web pages. The Relax Kit also includes 32 Mbits of quad-SPI flash memory, a high-speed Infineon CAN transceiver suitable for 12V and 24V bus systems, and a 32.768 kHz RTC crystal.
