An integrated camera allows for the playback of targeted content through biometric recognition. The 23.1" screen can be divided into four segments that can display different advertising messages directly at the point of sale.
- Easy content delivery to devices via app
- Setup in just a few steps
- Also available as a server-based variant with precise visitor analytics
The D230 marks another milestone in Shuttle's long product history as the first digital signage display in the less common bar format, measuring 29 × 603 × 75 mm (depth x width x height). Its 23.1" screen has a resolution of 1920 x 158 pixels and can display up to four different advertising messages. The front panel meets IP54 protection standards, making it resistant to dust and water splashes. The target market for this product is, in this case, the retail sector.
Inside the D230 is a powerful engine with a six-core ARM processor up to 1.8 GHz, integrated graphics, and 16 GB of eMMC flash memory. A microSD card reader allows for expandable storage. It also features a camera, Wi-Fi, PoE-compatible networking, a speaker, and audio and USB ports. The quiet D230 is designed for continuous operation. Because it's fanless, it's both durable and requires minimal maintenance.
Easy to use.
With mobile apps and browser control, Shuttle prioritizes intuitive operation, enabling simple use even without prior knowledge. Content can be managed and transferred via LAN or WLAN. Free mobile apps simplify D230 setup and content management.
Apart from the standalone version with application management, the D230 is also available as a server-based solution with more features such as, for example, analyzing customer behavior across the network taking into account eleven age ranges.
Server-based product variant:
The server version of the D230 offers the advantage of even more targeted content by considering biometric factors such as gender and age. It also allows for analysis of how frequently and which customer groups will see different advertising messages. With an additional Linux server, content can be edited via a web browser interface. Other features of the server-based version include the ability to group multiple clients, an integrated server-side media library for content management, and the option to deliver temporary and manually initiated advertising messages to groups of devices via the web interface. This version can also be expanded with a 4G modem in the M.2 slot for internet access without requiring Wi-Fi.
Flexible shelf mounting:
The D230 can be screwed in or hung on standard shelf hooks. With the optional PD230 accessory, multiple D230 units can be mounted in a row. The kit includes a power cable, metal connecting plates, and appropriate screws. This allows up to five D230 units to be powered by a single power supply.
