The flush-mounted model features a scratch-resistant, chemical-resistant glass front with a 19-inch diagonal display. Key features of the new Industrial Flat Panel include an anti-reflective coating and automatic detection of false contacts and controls caused, for example, by contact with the palm of the hand or dirt. The Simatic IFP1900 MT is designed for machine-level control and display in distributed configurations with a connection to an industrial PC up to 30 meters away. Existing single-touch control applications can continue to be used.
The Simatic IFP1900 MT's PCT technology enables efficient and fast control, even while wearing thin work gloves. The panel responds to gestures and simultaneous control with up to five fingers. This allows, for example, intuitive and rapid movement, zooming, or the addition of hidden elements to the screen content.
The transparent glass surface of the new Industrial Flat Panels range offers users a high-quality display with exceptional clarity and brightness. Its anti-reflective coating provides excellent visibility from all directions with a wide viewing angle and safe operation. The all-glass front is particularly scratch-resistant and impervious to chemical effects. A thin metal perimeter frame protects the glass edges from damage.
The new, robust Simatic IFP1900 MT widescreen panel features IP65 protection on the front and is designed for 24/7 operation, even in environments with high temperatures, vibrations, shocks, and electromagnetic interference. The fully dimmable LED backlight is energy-efficient, highly durable, and offers brightness tailored for use in brightly lit work environments. The 19-inch widescreen display is HD-ready and has a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels. The panel can be connected up to 30 meters away from an industrial PC via DisplayPort or DVI-D interface and can also be mounted in portrait orientation. It features integrated 24 V DC and 100-230 V AC power supplies, as well as two USB interfaces. The front panel design can also be customized to the customer's specifications.
Gesture and multi-touch control is supported by the Simatic WinCC V7.2 process visualization software. Alternatively, the Simatic IFP1900 MT can also be used for customized solutions based on Microsoft Windows 7 and 8.
