Initially, two new display modules will be launched. The TX13D06VM2BAA is a compact 5.0-inch TFT display with WVGA resolution (800 x 480 pixels) and a 16:9 widescreen aspect ratio. The 10.4-inch TX26D19VM2BAA features SVGA resolution (800 x 600 pixels) and a traditional 4:3 aspect ratio. New TFT Lite+ displays, including 6.2-inch, 8.0-inch, and 15.0-inch modules, are planned for release later this year.
The TX13D06VM2BAA offers 800 cd/m² brightness and a 500:1 contrast ratio. The LED backlighting provides a guaranteed lifespan of 50,000 hours at medium brightness. The standard 40-pin, 6-bit RGB CMOS interface simplifies system design and provides a palette of up to 262,000 colors. The 5.0-inch module has mechanical outline dimensions of 120.0 mm (W) x 80.7 mm (H) x 8.0 mm (D) and supports an operating temperature range of -20°C to +70°C.
The 10.4-inch TX26D19VM2BAA display module features a 20-pin, single-channel LVDS interface that supports 8-bit RGB and offers a palette of up to 16.7 million colors. The display operates within a temperature range of -20°C to +70°C and has mechanical dimensions of 243.0 mm (W) x 185.1 mm (H) x 9.4 mm (D). It delivers bright, sharp, and well-defined images with a 500:1 contrast ratio and white LED backlighting with a brightness of 550 cd/m² and a lifespan of 50,000 hours at medium brightness. If required by the application, the brightness can be increased to 800 cd/m² by boosting the LED backlighting current to 20 mA, although this will reduce the LED backlighting lifespan.
