The new FirstMate series marine panel PCs feature high-performance Intel Core 2 Duo 2.26 GHz microprocessors and up to 4 GB of memory, providing a powerful platform capable of handling all types of marine applications. The MPC-122-K is specifically designed to be compatible with various navigation applications, such as the ECDIS electronic chart navigation system. The FirstMate incorporates a 22-inch screen (16:10 aspect ratio and 1680 x 1050 resolution) with full contrast adjustment and a wide 178°/178° viewing angle, offering excellent screen visibility. Furthermore, the FirstMate also implements an innovative optical bonding system that prevents fogging and sun glare, ensuring optimal viewing in marine environments.

Thanks to its innovative fanless design, the FirstMate is built for environments with vibrations and shocks. It features a novel hard drive bay design, allowing 2.5-inch SATA drives to operate reliably in harsh environments, such as marine settings. It also includes two isolated RS-232/422/485 serial ports and two Gigabit LAN ports, providing high-speed Ethernet transmission and network redundancy. The new MPC-122-K is the most reliable and robust system for the marine industry on the bridge, and it complies with the most demanding standards in this sector, such as IEC 60945, DNV, and E10.

Other features: independent dual display (VGA + DVI-D), color calibration (ECDIS compatible), auto-scaling for maximum resolution, IP67 protection, waterproof or particle-proof, 7 USB 2.0 ports for high-speed peripherals.
