Both models feature touch panels, accepting touches from a bare hand or a stylus, and supporting multi-touch operations. Other features include high resistance to dust and water droplets to minimize unintentional input compared to other touch technologies.
All monitors meet the requirements of numerous certification agencies for shipboard and port facility operations, including GL (Germany), BV (France), LR (England), DNV (Norway), ABS (USA), ClassNK (Japan), KR (Korea), and CCS (China). They comply with the temperature, humidity, and vibration conditions defined in the international standard IEC 60945 for marine navigation and radio communication, and have an IP65 rating, ensuring protection against water ingress and low-pressure jets.
The brightness, gamma, and RGB color settings of each DuraVision marine monitor are factory-calibrated for accurate color reproduction, meeting international standards IEC 61174, IEC 62288, and IEC 62388 for ECDIS and RADAR applications.
These models are equipped with an ECDIS indicator to show when the monitor's brightness meets ECDIS standards. They also feature an audible alarm conveniently located on the monitor itself.
Each monitor comes equipped with a long-life LED backlight for high reliability, low power consumption, and is mercury-free to ensure minimal environmental impact.
EIZO's line of marine monitors has been developed, manufactured, and tested in-house to ensure the reliability and high performance essential for the harsh marine environment. Each monitor also includes the option of applying proprietary optical protection to increase visibility and durability.
Optical Protection
: EIZO's optical protection increases light transmission and significantly reduces screen reflections for exceptional visibility, even in direct sunlight. This optical protection also prevents condensation that causes fogging on the screen. A monitor with this protection is more resistant to pressure, thus increasing its lifespan.
