Providing optimized functionality, maximum performance, and high-quality image display, the Magelis GTO range can be used in a wide variety of industrial environments, such as compact machines, handling systems, and pharmaceutical applications.
The Magelis GTO terminals are available in five screen sizes (3.5, 5.7, 7, 7.5, and 10.4 inches), each with a 65K color TFT touchscreen that provides operators with the best data display quality, as well as energy savings thanks to its LED backlighting. The 7-inch model offers up to 40% more screen area than the standard 5.7-inch model, and the 3.5-inch and 7-inch models have a larger viewing area than standard terminals of the same dimensions, thanks to their external keypad with function keys.
Optimized communication is possible in all Magelis GTO models via Ethernet and integrated serial connection, ensuring access to a full range of internet services such as Webgate, FTP server, diagnostic server, and email. Updated interfaces (USB 2.0, SD cards) simplify operation and maintenance, while also providing excellent connectivity to peripherals. Additionally, Schneider Electric's new Vijeo Design'Air application enables remote connection to an HMI terminal over a Wi-Fi network for a graphical view of the terminal on a tablet or smartphone.
The Magelis GTO range is easy to install and compatible with existing Magelis HMI panels, allowing for simple replacement without machine redesign. These terminals withstand temperatures up to 55°C for warm environments and are internationally certified for use in harsh environments, such as those found in the marine industry. Rugged stainless steel panels are also available, which are particularly well-suited for the food, beverage, and pharmaceutical industries.
