These features make the EPC-R7200 the ideal choice for cutting-edge AI applications across all industries.
It is equipped with a motherboard compatible with all three Jetson module types in terms of form factor and pin configuration. Designed to serve as a complete, industrial-grade system, the EPC-R7200 boasts a high-quality aluminum housing with an enhanced heat dissipation system and ESD protection, providing maximum safety and security. Furthermore, the EPC-R7200's thermal solutions include modular, module-specific heatsinks.

NVIDIA Jetson modules work with the NVIDIA JetPack™ SDK. JetPack™ includes the Jetson Linux Driver Package (L4T) with the Ubuntu Linux operating system and CUDA-X. Both solutions accelerate AI development. The EPC-R7200 system supports the NVIDIA SDK and enables AI applications. It also allows AI developers to automatically activate I/O without installing drivers or configuring additional features. The Advantech EPC-R7200 supports wide operating temperature ranges and power inputs, and offers high vibration tolerance (-40 ~ 85 °C/-40 ~ 185 °F; 9 ~ 24 VDC; 3.0 Grms). Furthermore, it allows the Jetson family of modules to be transformed into a state-of-the-art AI system. This helps users produce prototypes in the field with reduced development time and less resource utilization for system integration and verification.

Cutting-edge AI applications, including image inference, require top-quality camera inputs. To this end, the EPC-R7200 system features two 2-way MIPI-CSI2 camera inputs for intelligent vision-based systems. It also includes one HDMI 2.0 port for 4K resolution displays, two GbE LAN ports for maximum connectivity, two USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports, and two M.2 slots for wireless modules (one 2230 Key E and one 3042 Key B). Thanks to the UIO40-Express mechanical design, the EPC-R7200 motherboard utilizes application-oriented I/O expansion cards to provide greater capacity. This allows developers to select I/O expansion cards such as M.2 2280 Key M slots for additional storage via NVMe SSD connection, serial ports (RS-232, RS-485), isolated ED/SD card slots, USB 2.0 ports, and a 4-port GbE Ethernet hub. Furthermore, Advantech's AIM-Linux software service provides UIO40-Express peripheral drivers for NVIDIA JetPack SDK 4.5.1. This enables the use of UIO40-Express features without additional integration effort.
