The DS437T's two SO-DIMM slots support up to 16GB of DDR3 memory. The 6Gbps SATA connection allows for quick connection of 2.5-inch SSDs and HDDs. Memory module and drive integration is simplified with easily accessible covers.
For external devices, there are four USB 3.0 ports and four USB 2.0 ports.
Displays can be connected via HDMI 1.3 and DVI-I, and the Intel HD Graphics integrated into the processor, compatible with DirectX 11.1, allows for dual monitors. Gigabit Ethernet and WLAN ensure connectivity to both wired and wireless networks. A Trusted Platform Module (TPM) can be connected via the LPC connection on the motherboard to enhance data security.
The DS437T is designed for continuous, low-power operation, but due to its convection cooling system, it must be used vertically. Aluminum support feet are included for this purpose. When using the included VESA mount, the DS437T will practically disappear behind the display, measuring just 20 × 3.95 × 16.5 cm (D × W × H). It also allows for mounting in hard-to-reach locations thanks to its external power button, which can be activated remotely.
