The equipment has application in a wide range of operational scenarios with intensive use of data and/or graphics, such as defense command and control, railway track inspection and oil and gas sensor analysis.
An optional NVIDIA® Quadro® RTX3000 discrete graphics controller can boost graphics performance to higher levels if needed, while up to 128GB of memory capacity ensures ultra-fast processing speeds.
The X600 supports three PCIe SSDs for up to 6 TB of internal storage. The X600 Pro takes this expandability even further, featuring two hot-swappable batteries and room for two additional batteries in the media bay, providing over 240 Wh in a single device. The X600 Pro also includes PCMCIA and Express card slots, as well as support for an optional DVD Super/Blu-ray drive, for even greater capacity both on and off the field.
The X600 boasts a wide range of advanced connectivity options, including dual 2.5GBASE-T Ethernet, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth v5.2, optional dedicated GPS, and optional 4G LTE with integrated GPS. The device also features multiple I/O interfaces, such as Thunderbolt™ 4, USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A, HDMI, DisplayPort, VGA, and a serial port.
The X600 also includes the latest physical and data security features. Self-encrypting drives (SED), a smart card reader, TPM 2.0, Intel® vPro™ technology, optional Windows Hello facial authentication, and an optional fingerprint reader keep sensitive data safe, while the integrated Kensington lock slot can be used to protect the device against theft.
The X600 features a large 15.6" FHD display with an optional 10-point capacitive touchscreen. This means it can be operated in low temperatures, humidity, or while wearing gloves. Getac's proprietary LumiBond® display technology also delivers excellent color, contrast, and brightness (1,000 nits), making it easy to read even in direct sunlight.
Weighing less than 5 kg, the X600 is remarkably lightweight for such a powerful device, while its compact form factor and dual hot-swappable batteries make it ideal for extended use in the field. Furthermore, backward compatibility allows customers to use the X600 with a wide range of existing peripherals right out of the box.
Like all Getac devices, the X600 has been built robustly from the ground up to withstand physical impacts, extreme temperatures, humidity and dust; ensuring the highest levels of performance and reliability during field operations.
Among its robust design features are IP66-rated protection against liquid and dust ingress, MIL-STD-810H and MIL-STD-461G certification, and the option of CID2 (ANSI/UL 12.12.91) certification, vibration and drop resistance from 1.2 m, as well as salt spray resistance (optional).
