The Distec Prisma-IIIE TFT controller board enables quick and easy integration of the display into the customer's application. The Prisma-IIIE is specified for a temperature range of -35 to +80°C and can be perfectly configured to meet the specific requirements of each application. It also features a state-of-the-art EMC design. A complete kit solution includes all necessary cables and a converter for LED backlighting. Distec's SmartLED converters allow for a dimming range of 0 to 100 percent.
For protection against dirt, condensation, and other external influences, Distec optically bonds a protective glass to the AT104XH11 as a suitable add-on. Combination with PCAPs or resistive touchscreens is also possible. Distec's latest generation of PCAPs can be easily handled with thick gloves and is even saltwater resistant. The advanced VacuBond optical bonding method increases the screen's resistance to vibration and shock, and improves readability in sunlight.
Distec also offers all TFT modules as complete solutions for the customer's specific system, for convenient plug-and-play use in production. In addition to the 10.4" XGA display, the following rugged displays from Mitsubishi's AT series are available:
• AT070MJ01: 7" TN, WVGA with 1000 cd/m², 800:1 contrast ratio, built-in converter
• AT070MJ11: 7" TN, WVGA with 1500 cd/m², 800:1 contrast ratio
• AT104SN01: 10.4" TN, SVGA with 700 cd/m², 700:1 contrast ratio, built-in converter
• AT104SN11: 10.4" TN, SVGA with 1500 cd/m², 700:1 contrast ratio
• AT104XH01: 10.4" TN, XGA with 600 cd/m², 700:1 contrast ratio, built-in converter
In the second quarter of 2017, Mitsubishi will launch another 7-inch WVGA display with 1300 cd/m² brightness and, thanks to IPS technology, a wide, symmetrical 170°/170° viewing angle and a 1000:1 contrast ratio. An 8-inch IPS WVGA display with 1000 cd/m² brightness and a 1000:1 contrast ratio will follow in the third quarter of 2017. Like all displays in the AT series, they feature an extremely wide operating temperature range of -40 to +85°C and high vibration resistance of 6.8 G. The backlight lifespan of the AT family is an impressive 100,000 hours. Distec maintains a large inventory of Mitsubishi models.
