In recent years, user interface applications have evolved towards simpler and more functional interfaces, enhancing performance while simultaneously reducing costs and maximizing productivity. In addition to an attractive and functional user interface running locally on our equipment, the ability to monitor and control remotely is also a significant advantage.
Noritake offers a wide range of smart displays with built-in graphics libraries, saving considerable time in developing a highly attractive and professional touch user interface solution. Furthermore, IPLógiKa gateways allow for the easy addition of Ethernet connectivity to these displays for remote control and monitoring of the system.
IPLógiKa gateways implement all Ethernet layers, even enabling embedded web pages accessible from anywhere in the world with an internet connection.
The interface between the IPLógiKa gateway and the Noritake iSmart screen is via a simple RS232 connection, which, in addition to sending and receiving information about system variables or instructions for the screen from the gateway, also serves to program the functionality of the gateway using simple AT commands.
The main applications are geared towards industrial equipment with local and remote control and monitoring, user interface equipment, vending machines in supermarkets, older equipment requiring an improved user interface and monitoring, smart appliances with Ethernet connectivity, and point-to-point communications via Ethernet.
One of the most interesting features is the ability to automatically send emails, or send them via local user control, in response to an exception or alert event, such as sending machine status updates, indicating faults, etc.
