The new printer range offers two models: the T3224 and the T3212. Both are robust and designed for continuous desktop use in both office and industrial environments. They print with ultra-sharp quality at resolutions of 300 or 600 dpi. Compared to the two models they replace (the TE3124 and TE3112, respectively), the new printers are nearly 20 percent faster, printing at speeds of up to 300 mm/s.
The new T3224 and T3212 printers are easy to install and use. They feature a color touchscreen interface with intuitive icon-based settings and come pre-loaded with tutorials that answer frequently asked questions without requiring an internet connection. However, if your application requires an internet connection, you can configure it wirelessly via a local Wi-Fi network or via cable, as both printers include USB, Ethernet, and serial ports. Loading labels and ribbons is also very easy. The printheads of these "smart" printers have built-in memory to facilitate maintenance, including tracking prints and printing temperature.
Both printers can be bundled with TE's WinTotal v6 software for high-quality printing applications. WinTotal is a label/marking design package that greatly simplifies the printing of markers in an industrial setting. Running in the familiar Windows environment, WinTotal v6 comes pre-installed with 2,500 standard TE identification products. This makes creating and printing identification labels and sleeves quick and easy.
