The NuProg-E was launched in early 2016 and was the first UFS programmer to access both embedded and removable UFS cards. Developers need these tools to develop and optimize mobile platforms to achieve faster memory access speeds, lower power consumption, and higher storage density. The NuProg-E platform has been scaled up into a gang programmer and integrated into an automated controller, the DP3500, for high-volume UFS duplication and smartphone manufacturing.
"Smartphones, high-resolution videos, 3D virtual reality (VR), and the latest gadgets have driven the demand for UFS devices and increased the complexity of their design and manufacturing," said Chong Tsao, CEO of DediProg. "DediProg provides reliable UFS programming solutions and will continue to innovate in UFS technology.".
The NuProg platform supports UFS 2.0, UFS 2.1, eMMC, and eMCP standards, delivering high-speed programming with write speeds up to 50 MB/s and read speeds up to 100 MB/s. It can access UFS configurations and advanced settings such as descriptors, attributes, LUNs, and flags. Dediprog works closely with UFS semiconductor manufacturers, including Samsung Semiconductor, SK Hynix, Toshiba, and others, to ensure that all algorithms are supported and tested to meet their individual product specifications.
Designed for ease of production and operation, the NuProg-F8 UFS gang programmer supports eight slave sockets plus one master socket with a programmer and duplicator. The DP3500 automatic programming controller can install six NuProg-F8 units and reach up to 48 sites to maximize production throughput.
