The PTCB™ series of circuit breakers has been specially developed for industrial applications with high inrush currents and, thanks to its slim design of only 8 mm, saves considerable space in the control cabinet. The PTCB™ series can be fully bridged with the CLIPLINE complete DIN rail terminal block program, enabling intuitive integration into existing applications. The circuit breakers are available in precisely graduated current ratings from 0.5 A to 16 A and cover a wide range of applications with F2 and M1 characteristic curves. These range from sensitive electronic components to high-energy consumers such as motors and transformers.
A special feature is the stackable current monitoring with an adjustable signaling threshold, which provides transparency regarding the current load status both locally and via remote signal. Easy PLC integration via digital outputs facilitates comprehensive system diagnostics and increases plant availability. The protective circuit breakers are operated using an intuitive rocker lever, which clearly displays the switching status, even when de-energized. This reduces training requirements and minimizes operating errors.
