Previously, Obregón held the position of Senior Vice President of Strategic Business Engagements and Supplier Management, where he led Avnet's United, Velocity and Integrated business units, manufacturer management and IP&E strategy, mergers and acquisitions (interconnection, passives and electromechanical).

Obregón has over 30 years of experience in the semiconductor industry, where she has built and grown teams and businesses from the ground up into profitable global market leaders. Prior to joining Avnet in 2023, she was corporate vice president of Amkor Technology. She holds a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from Arizona State University and a master's degree in electrical engineering from the National Technological University.
