The agreement seeks to respond to the demand for greater proximity and speed in the supply and support of industrial automation solutions in the Iberian Peninsula.
As part of this new phase, DBR Automation has strengthened its logistics structure and expanded its workforce by 10% by bringing in professionals from Emerson. With this move, the company aims to maintain technical expertise related to the applications and ensure continuity of service.
Strengthening of technical and logistical capacity
The collaboration will allow Emerson's Fluid & Motion Control solutions to reach a wider audience in the Spanish market through DBR Automation's infrastructure.
The company operates from its headquarters in Malaga and has branches in Madrid, Bilbao, Valencia and Barcelona, a structure with which it will provide coverage to different areas of the national territory.
The agreement also includes the maintenance of a local inventory with more than 5,000 references corresponding to different product families for automation and fluid and motion control.
The availability of local stock aims to reduce supply times for components used in industrial facilities, including cylinders and compressed air maintenance units.
Another aspect considered is the ability to make deliveries within 24 hours for certain components, with special attention to those that may be critical for the operation or maintenance of the facilities.
Support throughout the project lifecycle
The collaboration is not limited to the supply of components. The model includes technical support during different stages of industrial automation projects.
This support can range from proof-of-concept testing and application analysis to the implementation of solutions. The goal is to facilitate the adaptation of components and systems to the specific needs of each installation.
This type of support is especially important in projects involving fluid control, pneumatics and motion technologies, where the selection and configuration of components can influence both the performance and availability of the machines.
A model based on local execution
The agreement brings to the Iberian market a collaborative model that combines the technology and product portfolio of an international manufacturer with a local structure responsible for distribution, support and technical assistance.
Proximity can be especially relevant in industrial automation, where response times to maintenance needs, component replacement, or modifications to an installation have a direct impact on production.
The model also includes collaboration with the local distributor network. DBR Automation will provide product support and assistance to these distributors with the aim of expanding the territorial coverage of Fluid & Motion Control solutions.
Thus, the agreement establishes a structure in which the manufacturer, specialized partner and local distributors participate at different levels of the supply and support of industrial automation solutions in Spain and Iberia.
