In the latest episode, the Korean company Doosan explains various rescue applications where drones play a vital role, providing assistance in long-distance rescue missions. Doosan's technology covers a wide range of applications, many of them related to humanitarian missions.

Robert Gendron, Corporate Vice President of Product Development at Vicor, welcomes Soonsuk Roh, Director of Business Development at Doosan, who discusses the innovative technology that integrates fuel cells and high-density power modules to dramatically increase flight endurance for long-range, remote missions that would be dangerous or impossible for humans.
Doosan Mobility Innovation (Doosan) appeared on Vicor's Powering Innovation podcast to discuss the rescue applications provided by its hydrogen fuel cells, which allow its drones to achieve five times the flight endurance of those using lithium-ion batteries.

"Our Powering Innovation podcast continues to highlight fascinating technological advancements that are changing our world," Gendron noted. “In my conversation with Doosan, we discussed their use of hydrogen fuel cells to power their drones. Soonsuk and his team specialize in harnessing hydrogen fuel cells to increase drone flight range, thus opening up a wide range of applications. They are currently playing a significant role in saving lives and providing aid to people.”
