Leaders in UPS technology since 1966 as Invertomatic, with extensive experience in the sector (Imagination at Work 2001, GE Digital Energy 2004) until 2016 as Critical Power. The meeting, held in Switzerland, was attended by more than 120 guests, engineers, and clients, and featured a historical overview highlighting the most significant projects. Other projects highlighted included 392 UPSs distributed across various regions of Kenya. At the Sidra Medical Research Center in Doha, Qatar, GL transformers and 76 SG Series 60/80kVA UPSs, 5 SG Series 250kVA UPSs with 30-minute backup time and NiCad batteries were installed, as well as at the National Bank of Kuwait. The company's extensive presence at successive editions of the Olympic Games, including Rio 2016, was also emphasized.
An important aspect, and the one they highlighted most, is the importance and loyalty of the employees who work at GE Critical Power, of whom 32 have been with the company for more than 25 years, 5 employees for more than 40 years, and 2 employees for more than 45 years. Among the latter, they highlighted the work of Fabio Mandioni, who has been with the company for almost 50 years, and to whom they dedicated a well-deserved tribute.
GE Critical Power's factories and research centers have developed the "essential" elements and technology that make up the equipment: design, testing and definition of power electronics, all the sets of sophisticated and exclusive control electronics, input and output filters, operating systems, connectivity and monitoring software, as well as the most efficient practices for energy management and savings.
