The United Arab Emirates currently boasts the world's largest single-connection photovoltaic plant, with an installed capacity of 1,177.36 MW. This is the Noor Abu Dhabi project, located in Sweihan, which is equipped with Ingeteam photovoltaic inverters and inverter stations, supplied as a centralized, turnkey solution for medium-voltage power conversion.
In addition, Ingeteam supplied its power conversion system (PCS) for a pilot project in Dubai, which was the UAE's first energy storage system coupled to a large-scale photovoltaic plant. This battery system is part of the world's largest solar complex: the Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Solar Park.
The branch already has a sales and after-sales service department covering the entire Middle East region, as well as North Africa. With this opening, Ingeteam consolidates its dominant position as a supplier of power converters and operation and maintenance services for renewable energy generation plants in the MENA area, where it has already supplied more than 1,800 MW.
