The test cases focus on verifying the radio frequency (RF) and radio resource management (RRM) performance of devices used for vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) communications deployment scenarios. These test cases were validated at the 63rd Compliance Agreement Group meeting organized by GCF in July 2020 and enabled GCF to initiate radio certification of a C-V2X test plan based on 3GPP Release 14.

C-V2X radio certification is important for the automotive industry seeking to bring products and services to market for connected and autonomous vehicles. This technology increases the safety of drivers and passengers in moving vehicles, as well as pedestrians. Keysight’s compliance platforms enable hardware and software vendors to validate the compliance of C-V2X devices with the standards set by 3GPP.

Keysight’s automotive testing solutions cover power, sensors, communications, navigation, in-vehicle electronics, and cybersecurity, supporting accelerated design, development, manufacturing, and deployment for connected and autonomous vehicles.

Keysight works with Qualcomm to enable the Global Certification Forum to activate certification of a C-V2X test plan
Keysight Technologies, Inc. and Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. have enabled the Global Certification Forum (GCF) to activate certification for a cellular vehicle-to-everything (C-V2X) communications test plan. The test plan was achieved using Keysight's RF/RRM and DVT Compliance Toolkit and the Qualcomm® 9150 C-V2X Platform , a C-V2X modem with a global navigation satellite (GNSS) system on a single chipset.
