Analysis firm Bernstein has noted that most price increases are less than 30% and affect general-purpose analog components, where competition is fierce, while a small portion of high-precision ADC/DAC chips will experience price increases exceeding 100%.
Comments from John Bowman, Anglia's marketing director: "Allsigns indicate that the market is recovering rapidly, and the central theme for many suppliers at our recent sales conference was their concern that if customers don't start placing orders now, they will run into problems later in the year as delivery times are expected to lengthen rapidly."
To protect themselves from the inevitable supply chain chaos this will cause, Anglia advises its customers to remain vigilant and asks them to place their orders as soon as possible.
