Mobica, a Silver member of the Oracle Partner Network (OPN) and a global provider of cutting-edge software engineering, testing, and consulting, has developed a solution that aggregates data from a variety of sensors and sends it to the Oracle Internet of Things Cloud Service for analysis and integration. Mobica used an Advantech UTX-3115 IoT gateway and a low-power M2.COM-based WISE-1520 Wi-Fi IoT node for sensor input.
The use of Advantech's technology platform for data acquisition and Mobica's developed software, along with the Oracle IoT Cloud Service for data analysis, enables a complete end-to-end IoT solution, including remote monitoring and management.
Eric Ljungberg, CEO at Mobica, stated: “We are very excited to be working on something that many industries can now use to create real value. Leveraging our integration expertise and the Advantech gateway means IoT solutions can be built and deployed quickly, enabling the benefits of Oracle Cloud to be realized faster.”
Bernd Hacker, Director of Business Development and Marketing for Europe at Advantech, added: “Our goal is to provide IoT-enabled platforms to serve cloud service providers and domain-focused systems designers. We are pleased that Mobica has selected Advantech technology to build its IoT solution from device to cloud.”
