The global electronics design program invites designers to submit projects that uniquely incorporate one or more Microchip components. The program is a collaboration between Mouser, Microchip, and Crowd Supply, and the products will be advertised through these three channels.
Designers can apply to the Get Launched 2021 program by submitting their project proposals via the form found on the Crowd Supply website. The organizers will determine eligibility on a case-by-case basis, and those selected will be able to complete their Crowd Supply campaign at any time during 2021. All selected participants will receive a support package containing discounted parts for the first manufacturing round, technical and marketing review consultations, a reduced Crowd Supply campaign fee, and one of several Microchip development boards, such as:
Microchip's machine learning assessment kits provide a simplified, user-friendly environment with advanced performance. The EV18H79A SAMD21 machine learning assessment kit includes a TDK InvenSense 6-axis MEMS motion sensor, while the EV45Y33A SAMD21 incorporates a Bosch BMI160 inertial measurement unit (IMU).
The Microchip Curiosity PIC32MZ EF development board is designed for analyzing the high-performance PIC32MZ EF microcontroller, which offers 2 MB of flash memory, 512 KB of RAM, an integrated FPU, an encryption accelerator, and excellent connectivity options. The 32-bit Curiosity development platform includes a programmer/debugger, two mikroBUS™ click connectors, and an integrated Wi-Fi-N module. It is also fully integrated with Microchip's MPLAB® X IDEs.
• The Microchip AVR-IoT WA development board combines a powerful 8-bit AVR ATmega4808 microcontroller, a secure CryptoAuthentication™ element, and a fully certified Wi-Fi network controller to provide a simple and effective way to connect embedded applications to the Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud platform.
• The Microchip PIC-IoT WA development board includes a 16-bit XLP PIC24FJ128GA705 microcontroller, a Wi-Fi module, and a CryptoAuthentication secure element integrated circuit, and comes preloaded with firmware that allows engineers to quickly connect and send data to the AWS platform using internal light and temperature sensors.
