The MEMSIC product line enables mobility and the Internet of Things (IoT) by combining all the essential elements for engineers' application needs, including solutions for drone, mobile, wearable, industrial, electromedical, and smart parking applications. The MEMSIC product line at Mouser Electronics includes a variety of sensor products, including magnetic and electronic compass products, accelerometers, 6- and 9-DOF inertial measurement units (IMUs), orientation sensors, and gas flow modules.

The MMC5883MA ARM-based (Anisotropic Magnetoresistive) 3-axis magnetic sensor delivers industry-leading accuracy, low noise, and low power consumption. The sensor offers 16-bit operation across a wide operating range of ±8 Gauss and features ±0.2% of full scale (FSR) linearity, 0.2% FSR hysteresis, and 0.2% FSR repeatability on each of its three axes. It exhibits extremely low current consumption of only 20 μA at a data rate of seven samples per second and an exceptionally low noise level of only 0.4 mGauss total RMS noise. Combining this performance in a small, industry-standard LGA package, the sensor meets the growing demands of industrial and drone applications.

The ultra-low-cost MXC6255XC/U DTOS accelerometers are two-axis motion and orientation sensors based on MEMSICs' thermal MEMS technology. DTOS accelerometers allow designers to integrate key user interfaces, such as programmable "shake to change" menu navigation, TV/music channel selection, and image portrait/landscape orientation. The devices can also provide basic game control, detection of dropped irons and other appliances, and other applications in mobile devices, toys, and consumer electronics.

The MFC2000 bidirectional digital MEMS gas flow sensors are more durable and provide high levels of measurement repeatability compared to existing diaphragm- or turbine-based gas flow meters. The silicon-based devices offer excellent power consumption characteristics, such as quiescent currents as low as 1 μA and typical operating currents of 3 mA. Other benefits include low power consumption of 2.7 V–5.5 V, a wide dynamic range with an accuracy of 3% or better, and the ability to deliver the required performance across a 100:1 flow range. The architecture of the mass flow sensor modules is highly customizable for different flow rates and optimized form factors, depending on application requirements. These gas flow sensors reduce the need for specialized equipment in healthcare facilities and allow gas flow-related medical equipment to be introduced cost-effectively into the home healthcare market.
