To that end, the company organized an event last week at the Zarzuela Hippodrome to honor its customers and present the new company, emphasizing that it is more than ever a technological leader in the critical infrastructure sector.  
 
José Alfonso Gil, Vertiv's country manager in Spain, introduced the new company and explained why they had gathered their main clients at the Zarzuela Racecourse. “We organized this event to thank you for trusting Vertiv, just as you have trusted Emerson Network Power for years. As you know, Vertiv is a new company, founded barely seven months ago, but it has the track record and experience of many years in the sector thanks to retaining the employees, factories, products, and services of Emerson Network Power.”.   
 
The new company also highlighted its capacity for improvement in this new phase, built upon the solid foundation laid by Emerson Network Power. “But Vertiv aims to go further and become an even better partner for our customers, being more agile, more flexible, more competitive—in short, providing better service so we can continue growing together with all of you. Our business is critical infrastructure, and we work to meet the needs of everyone: engineering firms, end users, installers, distributors… At Vertiv, we are building a world where critical technologies always work,” stated José Alfonso Gil during the event.  
 
During the evening, attendees enjoyed a horse race sponsored by Vertiv and placed bets on their favorite horse. Each horse was named for the occasion after one of the company's five products and services:
 
- Liebert® Trinergy™ Cube: the most efficient horse in its class - Liebert PDX: the horse with the most power in the smallest footprint - Vertiv LIFE Services: the horse that monitors everything - Vertiv MPH2: the horse that best distributes its energy - Netsure™: the most flexible and safe horse. The winning horse in this exciting race was MPH2, and three "Life is Beautiful" experience boxes were raffled off among those who guessed correctly. This experience was accompanied by a performance from magician Jaque, who acted as master of ceremonies and entertained the cocktail party with close-up magic among the guests.
