The company also manufactures distribution boards for generators and photovoltaic installations, possessing significant expertise in all areas. It boasts modern facilities covering more than 10,000 square meters and employs over 120 people in administration, engineering, and production. Turnover in 2014 was approximately fourteen million euros.
“European companies are increasingly demanding motor protection and control systems that reduce CO2 emissions – in line with the latest ErP (Energy-related Products) directive – while increasing productivity and reducing operating costs,” says Fábio Gonçalez, European Head of WEG Automation. “We are confident that Autrial, with its extensive experience in the field of automation, will allow us to be even more effective in providing solutions to the needs of European industry.”.
WEG's growth in Spain is underpinned by the company's recent success in becoming a provider of automation solutions across the entire range of systems, extending beyond its traditional electric motor business. In line with this global strategy, WEG has strengthened its sales network throughout Europe over the past two years and established a state-of-the-art European automation center in Unna, Germany.
WEG strengthens its position in the automation sector in Europe through the acquisition of Autrial SL, a leading manufacturer of electrical panels in the sector.
