Founded in 2016, ProSMT was selected the following year to support Yamaha's complete portfolio of SMT assembly machines, mounting systems, 3D AOI systems, and YSUP software tools that comprise the 1 STOP SMART SOLUTION. A frequent recipient of service excellence awards from its partners, including the Yamaha Special Achievement Award, ProSMT has consistently increased its sales and service performance. Now consolidating its operations at its new headquarters, the company manages over 500 Yamaha machines installed in customer factories and has grown its team to 52 employees.

“Our new headquarters is a great environment for our people to work in and provides more space for a larger warehouse and showroom. We are also creating our new repair center, which will allow us to offer additional services and even greater value to our customers,” says Zafer Karamanli, co-founder of ProSMT Elektronik. “Our market is extremely competitive, given the strategic location of this region, and I am proud of the commitment and hard work of all our team members who have made this exciting expansion both possible and necessary.”

“We are impressed by ProSMT’s consistently high performance during our time working together,” echoed Shuichi Imai, General Manager of Sales for Yamaha’s SMT Division. “Zafer and his team have successfully invested in skills and facilities that enhance the customer experience for owners of Yamaha’s advanced SMT equipment. ProSMT Elektronik is one of our top-performing representatives, and we are confident that the new headquarters will become a platform for even greater success in the future.”

ProSMT supports electronics manufacturers in the region with a wide range of products, including Yamaha's advanced automation. These include automated and manual soldering equipment, testing and inspection systems, wire bonders, consumables, and 3D printers from leading brands. The company also offers related consumables such as solder pastes, adhesives, cleaners, and more.

“Our customers range from established electronics manufacturers seeking the latest in automation to companies transitioning to new technologies,” says Zafer Karamanli of ProSMT, citing automotive solid-state lighting as an example. “This region boasts a thriving automotive component manufacturing sector, with top-tier companies and EMS providers serving major European vehicle brands. Yamaha’s portfolio offers us great flexibility to configure a solution that delivers high speed, exceptional accuracy, low downtime, and a compact footprint.”

He concludes: "Leveraging our close ties with Yamaha and the strong technical support available, we also handle equipment installation and configuration, operator training, and ongoing customer support. Offering excellent products and paying attention to detail so our customers always achieve their goals is the key to our success, and we now look forward to improving our service in every way, working from our new headquarters."
