This integration aims to further accelerate the development of the SEMI (semiconductor back-end processing) business in the European market.
As a result, YME will now offer comprehensive, end-to-end solutions, encompassing not only electronic component assembly (SMT) and industrial robots (FA), but also semiconductor back-end processing (SEMI).
Following the integration, the sales support and technical service structures in Europe will be strengthened. By fully leveraging the global capabilities of the Yamaha Motor Group, faster and higher-quality services will be provided.
Building on the information gathering and sales support functions previously performed by AGL, synergies between the SMT, FA, and SEMI businesses will be enhanced, further strengthening Yamaha's presence in the European market.
