As Branch Manager, Ms. Nagakubo will oversee both Yamaha Robotics divisions, SMT Assembly Technology and Factory Automation, to ensure continued business development focused on sales growth and collaboration with distributors and technical partners. Both divisions are introducing new innovations at an accelerated pace, including new smart factory software to assist in advanced SMT electronics assembly, AI-powered optical inspection, and new assembly and printing platforms, such as the award-winning YRM20DL dual-rail assembler. The Factory Automation division has unveiled new industrial robots, including flexible transport modules and a new cost-effective SCARA model for cleanroom applications such as semiconductor manufacturing, food processing, and medical device assembly, as well as innovative handling solutions developed with system integrator partners.
