The Black Flat S series has been available throughout Europe since 2016. It is the first detachable LED surface with five individually controllable chips. The switchable light segments allow oncoming and distant traffic to be blended into the road, making driving more comfortable and safer. With improved thermal properties, these high-intensity LEDs offer system advantages and are suitable for an attractive entry-level Adaptive Driving Beam (ADB) solution, even for compact vehicles.
The Oslon Black Flat S combines the benefits of the Oslon Black Flat housing and the Osram Ostar Headlamp. Notably, thanks to the new Osram Opto Semiconductors chip, the optical design has been simplified, resulting in improved brightness. Furthermore, it features an optimized thermal block design that efficiently dissipates heat, ensures homogeneous light, and enhances reliability. Like the SMT enclosure, it allows for the easy and cost-effective integration of these new features and additional improvements using standard processes.
