The new light guides enable high brightness levels with exceptional uniformity. Their compact design and low system costs make them an ideal choice for industrial applications requiring high visual quality within tight budgets.
These LED strips have been specifically designed for use with standard, low-cost LEDs. LEDs of any color, from white to yellow/green or RGB, can be used. Thanks to optimized light conductivity and the material's high transparency, high brightness levels can be achieved even with very inexpensive LED chips.
With white light, up to 2000 cd/m² can be achieved, and with RGB variants up to 1500 cd/m², making the modules suitable for bright environments and applications with high contrast requirements.
One of the main development goals was to achieve a completely homogeneous light distribution, without hot spots or dark areas. The three available sizes (54x23 mm, 67x44 mm, and 54x39 mm) achieve this thanks to a precisely calibrated light guide geometry and the integration of diffusing and reflecting sheets. The result is perfectly uniform backlighting across the entire surface, a key advantage for high-quality industrial and medical applications.
The light guides can be connected directly to the printed circuit board, allowing for tool-free assembly. At only 3 mm high, they facilitate extremely compact display designs. Versions are available for three, four, or six LED chips and offer temperature resistance from -30°C to +70°C, making them ideal for demanding industrial, medical, and outdoor applications.
