Currently, the 12Vdc input version is available, but it can be modified to accept a 24Vdc input. There are two constant current output versions, 350mA and 700mA, and these can be optionally modified to achieve other output currents.
Also noteworthy is the low input voltage shutdown to protect the battery from deep discharge (under voltage lock-out), as well as the input protection against reverse polarity.
Equally innovative is the PWM dimming system. The unit is controlled by a PWM signal, so if the external control fails for any reason, the unit maintains 100% brightness, thus preventing the streetlights from going out due to a potential system problem. It also has an additional signal to operate the unit at 350mA without the need for external control.
