Manufactured and assembled at GE Lighting's LED Center of Excellence in Hungary, the new product is available in five different wattages: 20, 30, 40, 55, and 57 watts. It features an adjustable mounting bracket, making it an ideal luminaire for any outdoor space requiring a maximum installation height of up to 15 meters. The Odyssey LED boasts an attractive design, and its tool-free, clip-in mounting system and pre-wired options ensure easy installation on both poles and columns.
The Odyssey's overall maintenance requirements are expected to be low over its 12-year lifespan, based on 50,000 hours of use and an average of 12 hours of daily operation. Combined with the low energy costs required to operate the luminaire, the LED Odyssey offers an attractive return on investment. Like all GE outdoor lighting and technologies, this new product is based on rigorous testing and can be offered as part of a comprehensive solution.
In terms of optics, the Odyssey LED offers high photometric performance and dual IP66 protection for both the optical and electrical components. GE has incorporated an advanced reflective optics design into the Odyssey LED to minimize glare while improving both horizontal and vertical uniformity.
The Odyssey also offers a selection of control options, including DALI, 0-10V, step dimming, and photocell, and can be configured in a variety of wattage, optic, and driver combinations.
